Way behind on posts, but here are some photos from India. We had an absolutely outstanding trip our with Himanlayan Outback.
Fishing for golden masheer is challenging but very rewarding. I fished the whole week with 7126 Method and a 626 grain skagit line and a 12' T11 tip. We fished mostly tube flies.
If you are interested in fly fishing India, get in touch with Misty Dhillon, he and his team do a terrific job. I hope to head back next year.

Costa de Cocos 2016
We had a great week at Costa de Cocos in Xcalak at the end of March. This part of the Yucatan remains one of my favorite places on the planet. Great lodge, guides, food and value.
This year fishing was tougher than on previous trips. Our group did see lots of nice sized schools of bones but overall found that fish were pretty spooky because of unusually high wind conditions
.
That said everyone did catch bonefish that were consistently larger fish than in previous years. We also caught a couple small permit and some nice baby tarpon in the backcountry. Throughout the week everyone had shots at some very nice permit, maybe next year.
Frank with his 42" cuda caught trolling a fly in the canals leading into the back country.

Just getting caught up after a great trip to Argentina. I hosted a group of seven friends to Estancia Las Buitreras for a wonderful week of fishing for big sea run browns.
Everyone caught fish between 10-17 pounds, as well as smaller browns between16-22". We fished two handed 7-8 wt rods about 13'.
Most of the time folks were using scanned heads, intermediate leaders and a collection of streamers with rubber legs or large copper johns.
I will be taking a group back next January, please let me know if you are interested in joining us.
