Just getting caught up after a great trip to Argentina. I hosted a group of seven friends to Estancia Las Buitreras for a wonderful week of fishing for big sea run browns.

Everyone caught fish between 10-17 pounds, as well as smaller browns between16-22". We fished two handed 7-8 wt rods about 13'.
Most of the time folks were using scanned heads, intermediate leaders and a collection of streamers with rubber legs or large copper johns.

There are a lot of very nice lodge operations out there, but Estancia Las Buitreras is by far one of the best I have worked with. The guides, lodge staff, food and wine were all outstanding.

I will be taking a group back next January,  please let me know if you are interested in joining us.

What a great trip, John. Thanks for the adventure! Tons of sea runs, browns, and perfect environment for two-handed casting. Also, the staff, lodge, food and wine were all fantastic as well. Cheers- Brian
